CNR-IPSP hosts Žaklina Pavlović, from UB-FA, for a short stage training on Xylella fastidiosa

From April 18 to May 20, 2016, Dr. Žaklina Pavlović, a Ph.D. student at the phytobacteriology lab of the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Agriculture, has been a guest at CNR-IPSP laboratories in Bari, for a practical training, performed under the guidance of Dr. Maria Saponari.
During her stay, Dr. Pavlovic took the chance to improve her knowledge on detection, identification, isolation and culture of Xylella fastidiosa, being as well involved in field work carried out in the outbreak area located in Salento territory.
This staff exchange contributed to strengthening the cooperation amongst the two Institutions and to implement the collaborative efforts towards developing the joint EU project POnTE and future research tasks.
