Characteristics and identification of xylem-sap feeders
The present manual describes characteristics of xylem-sap feeders, vectors of Xylella fastidiosa, and current techniques for their morphological identification, rearing, transmission studies and molecular detection of the pathogen.
The manual was realised on the occasion of the International Symposium on the European outbreak of Xylella fastidiosa in olive, organised on October 21-24, 2015 in Apulia Region.
