SARAH GREEN

Dr. Sarah Green has over 20 years experience in plant pathology, including fourteen years as senior forest pathologist leading the Forest Pathology group at Forest Research’s Northern Research Station in Scotland. Main interests are distribution, detection methods, biology and evolutionary genetics of forest pathogens, with a particular recent focus on emerging Phytophthora diseases, their transmission mechanisms, and evidence for natural resistance in host populations. She has published over 40 peer reviewed papers.
