POnTE Project presented at the EU AgriResearch Conference in Brussels

From Wednesday, 2 May, 2018 to Thursday, 3 May, 2018 the European Commission organized in Le Charlemagne, (Brussels, Belgium) the EU AgriResearch Conference “Innovating for the future of farming and rural communities”.

The event assembled over 500 people scientists, farmers, rural communities, industry, advisors, policy-makers, citizens and NGO representatives who wished to learn about EU agriculture and rural R&I activities and achievements, providing this community multiple occasions to network.
The conference was about EU agriculture and rural research and innovation activities now and in the future and underpinned the development of Horizon 2020 activities and the organisation of synergies with innovation support provided under the Common agricultural policy through the EIP-AGRI.

The conference had the main objectives to:

  • take stock of the implementation of the strategic approach to EU agricultural R&I and present its first achievements;
  • discuss how to further structure the future EU framework programme for research and innovation by identifying key issues deserving particular attention under the different strategic priorities.

To present POnTE Project to the large audience of the Conference, a brochure was created and distributed during the event.
