Dr. Saldarelli (CNR-IPSP) presents POnTE and XF-ACTORS research on Xylella fastidiosa at AIT Seminar Series in Tulln

The 2018 Seminar Series, organised by the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) Health & Bioresources Center in Tulln, features lectures and discussions with leading scientists referring to AIT research fields.

On June 7, 2018 Dr. Pasquale Saldarelli, Researcher at CNR-Institute for Sustainable Plant Protection (Bari, Italy), will give an invited lecture on “Xylella fastidiosa in olive – tackling the epidemic through multiple strategies”.

During his keynote speech, preceded by Dr. Günter Brader (AIT), giving an introductory talk on Exploration of biological resources and Microbial biocontrol of plant diseases, Dr. Saldarelli will present an overview of the contribution of POnTE and XF-ACTORS Projects to the study of Xylella fastidiosa in olive.

The event will be chaired by Dr. Angela Sessitsch, Head of AIT Competence Unit Bioresources.
